I cannot get enough of Karin Slaughter’s writing. Nor can I get enough of Will Trent or all the other characters that come alongside him. And yet again, The Silent Wife is another great thriller. This will be the third book I have read of the ten book series, including Fractured, where I knew I would become obsessed with the series, and The Last Widow. Clearly, I have not read all books in the series in order, due to The Silent Wife being the final book in the series. I have a lot of work to do to finish the Will Trent series and reading the final book is only part of the beginning.
Premise of The Silent Wife
After a riot attack in a prison, when a prisoner comes out to admit he did not commit the crime he was in prison for. But that is not all. He comes out to say that the head of police and many others in the police department are involved in the crime. And the icing on the cake is the personal ties to Will and his girlfriend, Sarah, which makes this another great thriller from Karin Slaughter. The series is full of very intense and grimacing scenes and the series has been left off without breaking that stride.
Final Thoughts
If you cannot already tell, I love me some Karin Slaughter and her Will Trent thrillers and The Silent Wife was another great thriller of hers. Although I have read the final story in the series, this is not the last book in the series I will read. Keep writing amazing great thrillers, Karin!
